I was, amongst other things, out foraging for tat in Leeds yesterday (I’m like a tat squirrel… except taller and not quite as furry) and in one of the quieter corners of the Merrion centre, quite literally lurking on a shelf in a shop selling all manner of tat such as clocks and kids toys was this absolute gem of an item:

Itek Wireless Games Console... at the knock down price of sixty quid to you, guvnor!
Woah. Not only can you get this Wii “rip-off”, built around MOAC technology and with twenty games for a mere sixty quid, they’ve already knocked a ton off and selling you this console will cause them considerable domestic upheaval, yes ‘er indoors, the good wife of the owner, had her eye on it… [Shakes head] …sorry, I seem to be channeling the spirit of Arthur Daley (who said “fnarr fnarr”?), must be that £160 original price for some tat that can be grabbed for fifteen quid on the interwebs…

i was in toys r us the other day and i saw an itek for £7:99 so this isnt a bargain but that is so if you want this go there
That was sarcasm on my part, even when this was originally written a similar unit could be picked up for about fifteen pounds online; the dodgy traders were trying to pass it off as an actual Wii judging by the original £160 price tag and the “saving” they were offering!
